Kilpatrick will begin work on March 1.
The new office at MSU was created in response to an employee climate survey and and is part of the university's 2012-17 Strategic Plan.  Kilpatrick is a Certified Organization Ombudsman Practitioner, and has served in various ombuds/mediator/facilitator capacities since 1992, including Bridgepoint Education and subsidiaries and the National Conflict Resolution Center in San Diego.  He earned master's in negotiation and conflict resolution from Creighton University, a master of theology degree from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's from Western State University College of Law in San Diego.  (MSU News.)
