The public university in Montreal is hiring an Associate Ombudsperson. Reporting to Concordia's Ombudsperson Kristen Robillard, the Associate "works with University members to resolve University-related concerns and complaints informally, to investigate complaints and to recommend improvements to policies, rules and procedures that are unclear or inequitable."
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field; four to seven years of work experience in a conflict resolution role in a complex administrative environment; keen understanding of the principles of natural justice and equity; excellent spoken and written English; and very good spoken and written French. The position pays $66,194-$76,803 per annum and applications are due by September 24, 2012. (Concordia Jobs.)
