The public university in Edmonton is hiring its first Ombuds. The new Office of the Ombudsman at NAIT will provide guidance to students and staff on academic, interpersonal, and discipline-related issues. The Institute enrolls about 29,000 students (8,400 are full-time) and has 1,200 academic staff.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered), and training and experience with conflict management, including mediation, negotiation and dispute resolution.
