The United Nations' global development network is requesting proposals for a Programme Consultant for the Respectful Workplace Facilitators Programme. The position reports to the Ombudsman for UN Funds and Programmes, Giuseppe De Palo, and will select, train, support, guide and supervise the RWFs as they provide dispute resolution services to staff members and non-staff personnel of the UN Funds and Programmes (including UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS and UN Women). The contract position is for one year, starting August 1, 2019, and may be extended to three years.
Applicants must have an advanced, relevant university degree; eight years of experience in conflict management and ADR; and fluency in English. Experience in conducting conflict resolution training; experience in the UN system; and proficiency in French or Spanish are preferred qualifications. Applications are due July 12, 2019. (UNDP Jobs.)
