The human resource management system for the U.S. Department of Defense Intelligence Community is hiring an Ombudsman (apparently its first). The full-time position based at the National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, Virginia will serve "in an independent capacity as the lead principal advisor and designated neutral party for dispute resolution and conflict management within NGIC [National Ground Intelligence Center]."
In addition to U.S. citizenship, applicants must meet have: "One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience interacting with parties of conflict, collecting data, assessing factors leading to conflict, analyzing collected data and producing written and verbal presentations to management for understanding and or decision." Military service is preferred. The GG 13 position pays $88,704 to $115,313 per year. Applications are due by January 21, 2020. (Federal Government Jobs.)
