IOA Online Community Forums Launch Next Week

The International Ombudsman Association Board of Directors will begin offering a series of online "Community Connections" next week. These will be similar to sector forums that are part of the IOA annual conference, which was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Community Connections will continue through the summer. 


Here are the first scheduled Community Connections:

Wednesday, May 6th (9:00 AM PT, 12:00 PM ET, 4:00 PM GMT)

• Emerging Ombuds Sector Meeting: Finding Your Footing in the Ombuds World

Wednesday, May 6th (11:00 AM PT, 2:00 PM ET, 6:00 PM GMT)

• Collateral-Duty Ombuds Sector Meeting: A Panel Discussion of the Challenges and Rewards

Thursday, May 7th (9:00 AM PT, 12:00 PM ET, 4:00 PM GMT)

• Healthcare Sector Ombuds Networking Session

Friday, May 8th (11:00 AM PT, 2:00 PM ET, 6:00 PM GMT)

• Academic Ombuds Sector Meeting: Surviving and Thriving

These virtual offerings will be offered free to IOA members; Non-members can participate for $50 per session. (IOA Calendar.)
