Healthcare Ombuds to Discuss Pandemic and Black Lives Matter for IOA Roundtable

The International Ombudsman Association has announced the next virtual program which will feature Ombuds from a range of healthcare settings. IOA's "Community Connections" series is designed to keep its members connected and provide relevant educational programming. The healthcare roundtable will take place on Zoom on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, 9:00 AM PDT / 12:00 PM EDT.

Join us via Zoom for the Healthcare Round Table on July 7. The Community Connections Taskforce is finalizing the time of this event and will provide more details soon. This round table will be hosted by USC Health Center Ombuds Tom Kosakowski and [participants] will discuss the impact of the current global pandemic on ombuds practice within the growing healthcare sector as well as how heightened discussions in recent weeks regarding equity for people of color affect the sector as well.
This event will be held as a Zoom meeting. Register for the meeting for free.
