Applicants must have: a Master’s, PhD, JD, or advanced certificate in mediation, conflict or dispute resolution, organizational psychology, higher education, counseling or related fields, and five years of relevant professional experience or training; and Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner credential or eligibility to be certified within two years of hire.
