Job Posting: United Nations, New York

The UN Funds and Programmes (which comprises UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNOPS, and UN Women) is seeking its next Ombudsman. The search will fill a position held most recently by Giuseppe De Palo. The Ombuds heads a large office with about 20 staff members with several locations worldwide. Significant travel is expected.

Applicants must have an advanced university degree significant UN experience (i.e. at least 13 years of progressively responsible professional work in conflict resolution), and fluency in English and knowledge of another language. Applications are due March 24, 2024. (UNJobNet.)
