Youngstown City School District Unveils Ombuds Program

Martin Freeman has been appointed the inaugural Ombudsman for the public school system in Northeast Ohio. He will serve nearly 5,000 students across 17 school sites, plus families, staff, and community members. 

Freeman moves into the position after working as for a few years as the Supervisor of Social Services for YCSD. He graduated from Kent State University, and earned Master's degrees from Moody Bible Institute and Belhaven University, and a ThD at Andersonville Theological Seminary. (YCSD Ombuds; LinkedIn.)
