The large public university in Vancouver, is hiring a Dialogue & Conflict Transformation Facilitator. The position" leads the planning, developing, delivering, and evaluation of a range of proactive and responsive dialogue and conflict transformation initiatives." While it’s not within the UBC Ombuds office, it does involve the kind of informal conflict engagement work that closely aligns with U.S. models of Ombudsing. The Facilitator reports to the Associate Director, Capacity-Building and Conflict Transformation

Individuals with a background in equity-informed ADR and procedural fairness in higher education would be an excellent fit for this role. Applicants must have a Master's degree with at least six years of related experience (or the equivalent)The position is expected to pay in the range of $87,405 to $125,689 CAD per year and applications are due by October 7, 2025.
