UNC School of the Arts Adds an Ombuds

Elizabeth (“Liz”) Whiting is the new, part-time member of the Ombuds Team at UNCSA, the public arts conservatory in Winston-Salem, N.C. She joins University Ombuds, Jill Crainshaw, and will provide services to faculty, staff, and administrators.

Whiting takes on the Ombuds role while continuing as the Director of Interdisciplinary and Engaged Learning in the Professional Schools at Wake Forest University. She also taught ethics and directed ethics programs at Mars Hill University and at Emory University. Whiting graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University and earned an MDiv at Vanderbilt University and PhD at Emory University. (UNCSA Announcements; LinkedIn.)
