Society for American Archaeology Names Two Experienced Ombuds

The professional association for archaeologists has selected David Rasch, CO-OP, and Elaine Shaw, CO-OP, to serve as its first Ombuds. Rasch and Shaw will provide in-person services for SAA's 85th Annual Meeting in Austin, TX, April 22-26, 2020. The Ombuds were identified through a posting on the IOA job board. 
Rasch is an Associate Ombuds at UC Santa Barbara and the former Ombuds for Stanford University. He also served as the conference Ombuds for the American Political Science Association. Shaw recently retired as the Global Ombuds for Pfizer Inc. (SAA Ombuds.)
