The public school district for the capital city of Texas, has tapped Dawn Spinozza to restart its Ombuds Office. She will provide services to community members, families, and 75,000 enrolled students and will will practice to IOA standards. Her office is located within the Office for Organizational Transformation. Spinozza will restore a program that has been dormant since 2015.
Spinozza brings 15 years of HR and employee relations experience to the position. Most recently, she was the Senior Employee Relations, Training, and DEI Coordinator for Applied Research Labs at UT Austin. Prior to her HR career, Spinozza a managing editor for 17 years.
