Susie Brubaker-Cole has been appointed Associate Ombuds for Oregon State University. She joins Michael Steinberg, University Ombuds, and Jennifer Allemann, Administrative Program Coordinator. The OSU Ombuds Office practices to IOA standards and provides services to over 40,000 faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders.
Brubaker-Cole comes to the position from Stanford University, where she served for three years as Vice Provost of Student Affairs. Her career in academia included six years as Associate Provost for Academic Success and Engagement at Oregon State. Brubaker-Cole graduated from the University of Washington and earned a PhD at Yale University. (LinkedIn.)
