Baylor University Names Inaugural Staff Ombuds

Susan Anz has been appointed the first Ombuds to Staff at the private university in Waco, Texas. She will provide services to about 1,000 non-academic employees following IOA standards. In addition to her part-time Ombuds duties, Anz continues as Deputy Chief Business Officer.

Anz has worked in operations, finance, and administration at Baylor since 1998. She joins existing Ombuds programs at the university: Kevin G. Pinney, University Faculty Ombudsperson; Meghan Becker, Ombuds to Students; and two Ombuds for Baylor College of Medicine: Melanie Jagneaux, Director and Ombuds; and Alicia Booker, Principal Ombuds.
