University Ombuds Kim Fulbright will be leaving UC to take the position of constituent liaison for Ohio’s first congressional district. During this time of transition, Jivanto van Hemert will step up to serve as Interim University Ombuds. Fulbright joined the UC Ombuds Office in January 2013 as Associate Ombuds. She became the University Ombuds in December 2017. During her tenure, the Ombuds team significantly expanded their outreach and engagement— particularly among faculty and staff.
