Brookhaven National Lab Selects Ombuds

Brooke Wichmann has been named the Ombudsperson for the U.S. Department of Energy laboratory in Long Island, New York. She will revive and revise a program that was previously headed by Susan Foster (but who did not practice to IOA standards). 

Wichmann brings a decade of dispute resolution and Ombuds experience to the position. From 2015 to 2021, she was in the Conflict Resolution Services office at Colorado State University. Then, in 2021, she became the Associate Ombuds at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville for three years, which included covering the UK Chattanooga campus for over a year. (LinkedIn.)
