Job Posting (RFP): Tahirih Justice Center

The national nonprofit that provides legal and social services to immigrant women and girls fleeing gender-based violence and persecution is seeking proposals for a full-time Ombudsperson. The Ombuds will work alongside the Conflict Transformation Working Group and HR when the involved staff do not prefer use of colleagues for issues or complaints support. Tahirih is located in Falls Church, Virginia, but services may be provided remotely.

Applicants should have experience with diverse communities, experience with the Ombuds process and complaint resolution, facilitation skills, and experience in and knowledge of trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches. The contract will run for six months (with an option for a six-month extension) for a total budget not to exceed $35,000. All proposals should include a breakdown of anticipated expenses.
