Laura Smythe, who became the University of Idaho Ombuds in October 2018, has posted her first report. Smythe says that in her first nine months on the job, she handled 227 cases—a significant increase on an annual basis from prior years.
In addition, she"conducted 24 mediations, 44 facilitated discussions and 15 group facilitations; provided 13 visitors with longterm coaching; and gave 12 trainings and 3 guest lectures."
