Camosun College Selects Former Lakehead University Ombuds

Rob Thompson, who had served as a part-time Ombuds for Lakehead University, will be the next full-time Ombuds at Camosun College. He fills a position recently vacated by Carter McDonald, who retiring after a decade in the role. 

Thompson became the Lakehead University Ombudsperson in the Fall of 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Ombudsperson Support Officer at the International Organization for Migration in Geneva. Thompson earned his Master's in Conflict Resolution at the University of Bradford in the UK. (Camosun Nexus; LinkedIn.)
