Brown University Appoints Interim Ombuds

Julie Weber, CO-OP, has been named the Interim Univeristy Ombudsperson, succeeding Ruthy Kohorn Rosenberg, who established the position eight years ago. Weber comes from Montgomery College, the large community college in Maryland, where she had been the Ombuds since 2016. She hosted a virtual Open House for her office at Brown yesterday. A national search for the permanent Ombuds is expected in the next few weeks.
