U of O University Ombuds Martine Conway said that her office saw an increase in cases of more than 12% in 2018-19. The year was also the first year of service for Conway and the new Assistant Ombudsperson, Evelyne Poisson. Together they heard from 335 students, 36 employees, 241 applicants, and 38 others.
