Ian McDonald: Former University of Toronto Ombuds
Ian McDonald passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 80. McDonald was a long-time Professor of Classical Studies at the University of Toronto. After he retired from the faculty in 2006, he was appointed the Interim Ombudsman and served through 2007. He followed Mary Ward and was succeeded by Joan Foley. (Legacy.com.)
