Smith College Appoints Ombuds

Christine W. Yurgelun has been named the next Ombudsperson for the private women's liberal arts college in Northampton, Massachusetts. In this part-time position, she will provide services to the College's faculty and staff. She follows Michael Stephens, who served in the position for five years and recently moved to MWI as a contract Ombuds.

For many years, Yurgelun has managed dispute resolution services for the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. She graduated from Smith College and earned her JD at the College of William & Mary. (Smith Ombuds.)
