Job Posting: SOS Children's Villages, Austria

The Austria-based international development organization for children is hiring a National Ombuds to be based in Vienna. As part of a team of Ombuds, the position joins other National and Regional Ombuds and serves constituents from locations in Austria, Estonia, Jordan, and North Macedonia. The position will report to the Global Ombuds (currently filled on an interim basis by Judi Fairholm and Andrew Azzopardi).

Applicants must have a relevant Master's degree, at least five years of Ombuds or closely related experience, and a "very good level of English." Knowledge of Arabic or Russian, and management and NGO/IGO experience are preferred. Applications are due by September 24, 2023. No salary indicated. (SOS Careers.)
